Formed in early May 2011, Rogue Gallery was originally named "Broken Bends" and consisted of founding members Scott Sweet & Stephen Ekhoff as well as then drummer Josh Jones. All original members met through the social scene in the summer of 2010 in Boise Idaho. It wasn't until Scott called up Steve wanting to form a band in the spring of 2011 that Rogue Gallery actually started taking shape. Bringing a handful of songs to the table each and writing some original stuff side-by-side, Scott and Steve brought Josh Jones in on their first official practice despite not even having a drum set. Josh Played on paint cans, pots and pans to supplement the rhythm of the beat as Scott and Steve played acoustically in the front room of a friends house. Making great strides since then, Rogue Gallery Played through most of 2011 as the Broken Bends. Rogue Gallery has now taken on the new moniker as well as adding two new members to the group since parting ways with former drummer Josh Jones. The band now consists of Scott(vox, lead guitar), Steve(vox, rhythm guitar), Matt Stredder(drums) & Brent Thompson(bass). Cultivating a mixture of Blues and "Crunchy" alternative rock Rogue Gallery has started to place a foothold in the Boise music scene by bringing equal parts energy, passion, and a fun stage presence to their live shows. Drawing from Scott Sweet's integral influence of blues and Steve, Matt & Brents talents for a tight and "get-up-and-move" rhythm section Rogue Gallery have created something distinct to the growing Boise music scene.
