An honest sound that stirs yearning. Soft anthems that are neither complacent or defiant. Songs that feel like silence held in a gorgeous roar. These are the emotions written into every line singer-songwriter Naomi Psalm pens. Naomi, a Fort Lauderdale, Florida native, would cut her teeth on bass and travel internationally (Taiwan, Thailand,England, Malaysia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Germany, France, Denmark and Indonesia) beginning at age 19. Naomi went on to tour the North West as a singer/songwriter for several years, and in 2011, released her 4th CD STARE. Naomi Psalm fronts the veteran combination of Rob Hill (bass), Mike Tetro (drums) and Dan Costello (guitar). On this record the quartet is aptly supported by the alt/pop-fusion stylings of producer/musician/songwriter and Philadelphia native Dammien "Dame" Alexander. In January of 2011, these five individuals hailing from all across the US would find each other in Boise, Idaho. Lightning would strike. This joining of souls is called The Blue Cinema.
